Claire is a Specialist Speech and Language Therapist who has extensive experience working in the NHS with children with a range of speech, language and communication needs. Claire also works with adults and children with voice disorders. Claire Williamson Therapy specialises in the treatment of voice disorders from assessment through to a treatment plan.  Claire works online with patients across the UK but face to face appointments are available in the Bristol area. She uses a client-centred and evidence-based approach to the assessment and treatment of voice disorders.

“I originally trained as a singer at The Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts (LIPA) and worked professionally as a singer and actress before later training as a Speech and Language Therapist in 2012 gaining an MSc in Speech and Language Sciences from UCL. I have previously worked as a vocal coach working with groups of singers and individuals so my background as a performer means I have always had a special interest in working with professional voice users who are experiencing voice difficulties.”
